Memento

After the mini pool you people have chose Memento! Good choice!

plot:
"A man, suffering from short-term memory loss, uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife."

This is the movie that launched Christopher Nolan's career. It is a highly innovative story about a man seeking revenge over people who have killed his wife. However he has short-term memory loss and the only way for him to figure out anything is to write down everything and get tattoos. The acting is excellent! The movie it self is basically a puzzle. One of the most interesting things is that it starts from the end. Making it even harder to watch.

I suggest this to everyone who likes psychological thrillers as it is one of the best in my opinion.
I rate it 9.1/10
Definitely worth a watch!

here's the trailer!

P.S. As trainspotting got a lot of votes it might be one of the next movies i review. If you have any suggestions please say! How did you like this movie if you have seen it?

  13. This is one awesome movie. Chris Nolan really takes movies way ahead of his times. This movie was copied in Tamil and Hindi -indian language- instead of practical difficulty faced by shortterm loss person where he cant even remember that he had already taken revenge on the person and cant remember whether his wife is alive or not, it was modified as revenge story.:)

I am also waiting for comedy version of Inception in Indian language.

  15. Cool site!

I love this movie. Nolan has such an inventive filmmaking style and this film serves as his seminal work.

One of my favorite Nolan trademarks is his ability to challenge a viewer. He does this by creating an illusory experience that can be interpreted many different ways. If you have seen this movie, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
