many people have complained about my "worst movie" post. therefore, I give you a great movie!
Story:
A ticking-time-bomb insomniac and a slippery soap salesman channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until an eccentric gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.
Directed by David Fincher (Se7en, The Social Network, Zodiac...) this movie could hardly do wrong! Directing in the movie is led to almost perfection. The movie holds an outstanding plot. Acting is yet another great thing is the movie. Both Edward Norton and Brad Pitt do a great job. Let's not forget about Helena Bonham Carter and her exceptional role of Marla Singer.
Heres the trailer(bad quality but eh what to do):
Whoever hasn't seen this movie please do(I had an aversion towards this movie and denied to see it for a while, I thought it was just another boring fighting movie, however I thought wrong)! It is worth it. To about the 3/4 of the movie you will be quite questioned. I can watch the movie over and over and it never gets boring. Dialogs in the movie are exceptional. The final scene in the movie is for sure one of my favorite ending in cinematography (+ it has one of my favorite songs in it).
I give it a 9.3/10! Excellent!
WARNING!!
Do not read/find spoilers if you have not seen it. It will ruin the movie a bit :)
Have you seen it? If yes what do you think?

ReplyDeleteI saw it, but I gotta be honest I didn't really understand it the first or 2nd time through. I picked up pieces here and there, though. Good movie.

I've never actually seen fight club start to finish, I'm adding this onto my list of movies I haven't watched and really want to, lol.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the few movies that does the book justice.
ReplyDeleteLoved it! One of the few times a movie has lived up to it's book counterpart. The message was different, though.
ReplyDeletespoilers could definitely make this movie less enjoyable. have you read the book?
ReplyDelete@Some Guy, not yet! but planing! :)

ReplyDeleteThe first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club ;)
ReplyDeleteI love all the not-so-subtle easter eggs in this movie.
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves this movie, I think its pretty awful.
ReplyDeleteThe first half was, admittedly, amazing. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, I loved it.
Then towards the second half, I wont mention specifics in case it spoils it for someone that hasn't seen it, it took a turn into the shitter.
i loved this movie!!! hahaha especially the last part, if you noticed, where it flashes a naked dude on screen for just a second lmao [like he was talking about doing before? yeah hehehh]

ReplyDeleteseen the movie about a million times, and love it. the book was better. any book by chuck palahniuk is worth a read.
ReplyDeleteI agree, great movie- funny, what you wrote reminded me at myself, i also avoided seeing this film for a long time since i thought it would be another, not mentionable fighting movie, i watched it the first time just a few months ago with someone who highly recommended it- and was surprised how good and different to my expectations it was *haha*
ReplyDeleteR.

you got this one right man
ReplyDeletethanks for reminding i will watch it again
Epic movie, loved it !
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those people who don't like Fincher and Nolan. Being a psychologist, their dark pessimism and sometimes even misanthropic view of society often scares me ... they certainly don't have a positive influence on the viewers especially not on the younger audience.
ReplyDelete@Dezmond I kinda like both of them, but the part for the younger audience is true..
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool movie!
ReplyDeleteOH man I LOVE this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletethis film is so epic. SO EPIC
